Other - MSBC Mid Winter Board Meeting

Dear Convention Family,
The Minnesota State Baptist Convention will hold its annual Mid- Winter Board Session Friday, January 16 and Saturday, January 17, 2015. The Greater Friendship Baptist Church is the Host Church (2600 E. 38th St. Minneapolis, MN). It is an exciting time for our convention and so we ask that you plan now to be present during our Mid-Winter Board session.
During the session one course will be offered by the Congress of Christian Education. That course will be Introduction to the Old Testament. This course is required for the Certificate of Progress Program. Dr. Marcia Wyatt (New Hope Baptist Church) will be the instructor. The course description is as follows:

#1007 Introduction to the Old Testament
This course will survey the Old Testament. Included in this survey will be a general overview of the divisions, time periods, places, events, people, and archaeology of the Old Testament.
The registration cost for Introduction to the Old Testament is $25.00. Onsite registration will be available at Greater Friendship.
As always all convention churches and members are encouraged be a part of the work and learning opportunities presented by the convention. A schedule of activities and class times accompany this letter, please plan to be present. Do keep mind that we are better together when we work and learn together.
Together With You In Kingdom Building

Dr. James C. Thomas, Congress President
