Summary:
Mortenson Construction is hiring a Talent Acquisition Manager to provide leadership and management to the talent acquisition team in support of core company recruiting objectives, including Inclusion and Diversity, lean processes, high candidate and hiring manager satisfaction and a focus on finding the best talent!
Responsibilities:
In this role, the Talent Acquisition Manager will:
• Lead Mortenson’s talent acquisition team to deliver high quality talent from diverse pools through an effective and efficient process resulting in high caliber talent, positive candidate experience and hiring manager satisfaction
• Lead diversity recruiting initiatives as outlined in Mortenson’s Inclusion and Diversity road-map
• Manage recruiting processes and systems, including iCIMS applicant tracking system, OFCCP compliance and high quality sourcing, interview, selection and hire processes
• Manage and evolve Mortenson’s employment brand and the expression of that brand through collateral, web presence and social media
• Support customer relationship between talent acquisition specialists and hiring managers
• Monitor and report on performance metrics for the talent acquisition team to benchmark and measure success
• Participate in and support Mortenson’s craft recruiting initiative
• Recruit selected high-level company or Human Resources positions as needed
• Fulfill other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree Human Resources Management, or related field and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum of ten years recruiting/HR experience or a combination of higher education and experience
• Minimum of three years supervising talent acquisition professionals
• Previous experience with applicant tracking systems required, iCIMS preferred
• Previous experience leading inclusion and diversity recruiting initiatives preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of and enthusiasm for talent acquisition processes and best practices
• Adept leadership and management skills
• Knowledge of Affirmative Action and EEO regulatory requirements and general best practices
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft office and applicant tracking systems, ability to learn and optimize new systems preferred
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong teamwork orientation, coaching and mentoring skills
• Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Detail oriented, ability to analyze data and draw conclusions from data
